Welcome! I am a native New Yorker with a lifelong interest in nutrition, and truly believe that you can optimize your health through food. Most importantly, health should taste good!

My interest in nutrition began as a child. I struggled with life-threatening asthma and allergies as a child, and learned how to cook from my parents. Once I was able to be more active, you couldn’t stop me. I began running as a sophomore at The Taft School, and have completed races to this day, including over 25 half marathons and two marathons (including a BQ of 3:40 at the 2010 Philadelphia Marathon).

I started my career in Integrated Marketing with Hearst Magazines and Rodale, but soon realized that I wanted to make a difference on a more personal level. After doing a bit of soul searching during a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, I applied to graduate school at NYU.

I completed my dietetic internship at NYU, with a hospital placement at New York Presbyterian-Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Since then, I have worked in various settings: clinical outpatient centers at NYC’s Top Hospitals in Medical Weight Management, General Nutrition, and Kidney/Liver Transplant; private practice focused on individualized nutrition therapy; media consultant for some of the nation’s top Health + Nutrition experts, completing various projects such as copywriting, article writing, and social media content.

I started working alongside Stephanie Middleberg in 2013, and joined the Middleberg Nutrition team as a Registered Dietitian in 2016.

What I love most about nutrition is that there are so applications. There is not a “one size fits all” approach to working with individuals, and with my background in Integrated Marketing, I like to challenge myself to work outside the box in all areas of the field —with clients and creative projects alike.
